A member of Danville Rotary since 1965. President in 1978; Paul Harris Fellow and Rotarian of the Year for Northern California 1976.

Founder of the Discovery Center of Danville and the first Dial a Ride for seniors for the Tri Valley area.

Practiced Orthodontics for 47 years before founding a practice in Sleep Medicine and TMJ treatment called The Advanced Oral Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Danville  in 2010.
