FUN STUFF FROM DR. HEIDI - Today in history:  Patty Hearst kidnaped 1974.  Did you  hear Jack in the Box has a new burger? It's called the Hearst burger. When you open the bun, there's no patty. (Good one, Dr. Heidi!)
Today in history: In 1938, the release of Snow White and the Seven dwarfs.  Jeff Moore named six of the seven dwarfs and won $5! (Great memory, Jeff!)
 
Today in history: In 1959, the Barbie Doll was invented.  Heidi brought her Dentist Barbie to lunch. (No surprise here . . . but did Dr. Heidi pay for her lunch?)

GREAT HONOR FOR CASTRO VALLEY ROTARY CLUB - On Friday, at noon, January 31, the Rotary Club of Castro Valley was honored at the Mt. Eden Mansion as the Hayward Area Recreation District Community Organization of the Year!  Quite the honor . . . nice plaque was shared with those present!

TEXAS HOLD’EM POKER TOURNAMENT - March 22 - Masonic Lodge - 5 PM Dinner and 6 PM Tournament - Al West has started his search for prizes by drafting Randy Vanderbilt again this year!  $200 buy-in . . . sign-ups to follow along with more details . . .  Alan will be having poker lessons at his house by the world famous poker players: Alan West and Dwight Perry! 
PANCAKE PUTT-PUTT - April 5 - Golfland - sponsors and players will be needed . . . Pancake putt putt: Bill nott passed out tickets.  Please sell tickets $15 each or $50 for four.  The putt putt will be on April 5. Please sell hole sponsorships ($100 each or $200 for one on each course).  Please also collect raffle prizes.  Fliers and posters ready next week.  (Heidi to email out sponsor letters.... ROWELL RANCH RODEO PARADE - May 10 - Rowell Ranch Rodeo Parade - Theme “Castro Valley Rocks!”  Co-Chair TL Baily confirmed that we WILL have the Wells Fargo Stagecoach this year!  Next committee meeting is Tuesday, February 11, 5:45 P.M. at Don Jose’s
