The Year in Review - President Dwight Perry
President Dwight Perry, presiding over his last official meeting of the 2021-2022 Rotary year, reviewed the Club's many highlights and significant achievements during the year including events (Rodeo Parade, Car Show, Restaurant Walk, Senior Center giveaways), fundraising (TRF, Polio Plus), scholarships ($10K to CVHS seniors), community grants ($6K), and membership (9 new members).  Dwight thanked members for their incredible Service Above Self that made the year so successful.  Since the list of achievements and members to thank is so long, watch the video to grasp the scope of successes this past year.
Club members give President Dwight a standing ovation in recognition of his outstanding leadership during the past year.  Dwight promised to return for a third term as President in another 40 years.
Jim Negri used his Foundation Recognition Points (earned for donations to TRF) to recognize Gary Howard (2nd from left, PH+1), Gary Bosley (2nd from right, PHF) and Bob Shayler (not pictured, PH+2) with Paul Harris Fellows for their assistance with Meeting Highlights and Zoom for the past two years.  Watch the Announcement video to learn more.
At today’s meeting, Membership Chair Ceta Dochterman and President Dwight Perry welcomed Marco Jaramillo as the newest Red Badge member.  He was sponsored by Randy Vanderbilt with a classification of Construction.  Click here to learn more about Marco.  Please take the time to introduce yourself to Marco when you have a chance.

Car Show Chair Dave Sadoff shared that the Show was a great success with over 420 cars participating with a crowd estimated to be around 12,000 people.  He presented President Dwight with a plaque recognizing the Club's sponsorship of the Car Show.  Dave will provide financial details at a future meeting.
When called upon by President Dwight, Gary Bosley led an outstanding rendition of the Hello Song.  John Aufdermauer shared information regarding two dinner shows at the Castro Valley Center for the Arts sponsored by the Castro Valley Arts Foundation.  It's a great opportunity for a night out locally.
