Castro Valley Rotary Helps Nursing Homes
Combat the Pandemic
On Friday, June 26, members of the Rotary Club of Castro Valley joined  Rotarians from Dublin and Walnut Creek to distribute personal protective equipment to more than 100 nursing homes in our community. The event was sponsored by the Ombudsman Services of Contra Costa, Solano, and Alameda Counties at the Dublin City Hall. Soldiers form the California National Guard provided traffic control.

"Nursing homes are an often overlooked component in the fight against COVID-19,” said Gary Howard, 2020-21 Castro Valley Rotary President. “We are happy to assist in this distribution of supplies and we are actively looking for other ways to support nursing homes in this difficult time.”
