The Governor’s Vision: A Rotary Revolution
We were honored to host District Governor Herb Ritter for his official visit. Herb, a third-generation Eagle Scout and seasoned marketing leader, presented his vision for the 2025–2026 term: “Lead with Vision. Serve with Heart. Leave Your Mark”. He challenged our club to join the "Rotary Revolution," an initiative focused on modernizing our public image and deepening our local impact to ensure we leave our community better than we found it.

Kathy Catanho: A Legacy of Service
We are thrilled to welcome Kathy Catanho to the Rotary Club of Castro Valley. A dedicated community leader and professional in real estate and event production, Kathy brings a wealth of local history and service experience to the club. Beyond her professional life, she is a talented musician who regularly shares her passion for the arts as a member of the SaxTime Quartet. Whether she is performing at local community centers or volunteering with organizations like Save Mount Diablo, Kathy embodies the "Service Above Self" spirit. Please join us in welcoming Kathy and her saxophone to our Rotary family!

Roy Wallace: Roots and Professionalism
We are proud to celebrate Dr. Roy Wallace on being honored as a Paul Harris Fellow! A pillar of our club, Ray has dedicated his life to education and global citizenship, most notably through his transformative leadership of international programs at CSU East Bay. From his years spent trekking the Himalayas to his steady leadership on our Endowment Board, Ray consistently brings a world-class perspective to our local missions. When he isn’t sharing his "Ruminations on Worldly Matters," you might find him picking up his guitar or supporting the next generation of innovators. Please join us in congratulating Ray on this prestigious recognition of his enduring generosity and dedication to the community.
