BART Director District #5

John McPartland has served 8 years on the BART Board and is running for reelection in November. He has BA and Master’s Degrees, is a retired Army Colonel, retired Fire Chief and worked at BART for 6 years before being elected in 2008. John has opened the West Dublin Station, reformed the Police Department, improved earthquake preparedness and is working relentlessly to extend BART to Livermore and ACE, and expand the parking structure in East Dublin.
