DOUBLE SUSTAINERS AND THE ROTARY FOUNDATION DRAWING
LAST CALL - DRAWING IS NEXT WEEK - “Dwight Wants You!” No, this is not a military recruiting slogan from the 1950's when “Ike” was President of the USA . . . this is our Dwight (Perry), who reminded everyone today to be sure to get your drawing tickets soon as the drawing is Wednesday, December 5! You don’t have to be present to win, but you do need to be entered to win! Come prepared next Tuesday to get into the game (e.g., drawing!).

Once again, Al West reminded everyone (again!) to not miss out on our upcoming Club Christmas party at the Crow Canyon Country Club on December 11! The party begins at 6:00 P.M. and will feature the talents of the Castro Valley High School Madrigal Singers! Tickets are $75 per person (or, as Al West says, “$150 per couple). More information will be coming by separate letter/email. For information NOW, please contact either Al West, Dwight Perry or Walt Schneider. Oh, and two more things: 1) Call Al at 510-889-6692 with your choice of entre (stead and shrimp or salmon and something else!); and 2) Bring your checks next Tuesday to Rotary! Checks should be made payable to Castro Valley Rotary.

of Optimier, a Junior Achievement Corporation. Our presenters
today were Kevin Jenkins, Chief Executive Officer; Sunny Kalra,
Chief Financial Officer; Caitlin Douglas, Vice President of Sales;

did a tremendous job relating how a company gets “founded” and the
establishment of a business plan including
product selection, manufacturing, promotion and sales. Optimier is to be commended to donating 25% of their gross income to the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation. The following slides illustrate their efforts. For more information, contact Optimier at (510) 862-1989 or
