PROGRAM
Our speaker today was
Ceta’s Big Brother, Cliff Dochterman. Besides being known as the
proud Big Brother of Ceta, Cliff also is known world-wide for his
dedication to serving the people of the world through Rotary. Cliff
is a member of the Moraga Rotary Club and has been Past District
Governor 5190 as well as Rotary International President in 1992-93
and was instrumental in the founding/operation of polio plus, 3-H
program and
has served on just about every committee known to Rotary, from the
club level all the way to the international level. Cliff stressed
that we need to serve seriously and have fun along the way. To
stress this, he donned early 1900 dress and as one of those present
at the first Rotary meeting over 100 years ago, called Rotary’s
founder Paul Harris . . . then after a very informative conversation
on his archaic telephone, picked up his cell phone and called Paul
Harris in Heaven to give him a report on how his vision is doing.
Thanks, Cliff, for an outstanding presentation!
SEARCH FOR THE CORRECT MARBLE
Mr. Dochterman reached into the marble sack and pulled out Leslie Rothwell’s name and with $244 at stake and 2 marbles in the sack . . . . reached into it and . . . won . . . $5.00 . . . Congratulations!
