President Dick Short welcomed everyone and asked Jim Fitzpatrick to lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance followed by Bruce Johnson giving thanks for our membership, our armed services personnel at home or overseas, first responders, our Great Country, its leaders and our defenders.
SHERWOOD NICHOLS PASSED AWAY LAST WEEK
Cliff Sherwood shared that long-time CV Rotarian, Sherwood Nichols, passed away last week. We will keep the Club informed of any services.

PROGRAM
Bob Crossett introduced our own Bill Nott talking about Engineers Without Borders (EWB). Bill has a rich work history, including working on the International Space Station! He serves EWB as their Education Chair. Bill shared that 80% of diseases world-wise are water related so it is not surprising that the majority of their projects are water-based. EWB looks to build a 5-10 year relationship between the community and the chapter stressing low-cost, sustainable projects that can be maintained in-country.
